What you will do
- Build and maintain connections between and suppliers, working with third-party APIs, handling data mapping, error handling, and monitoring.
- Ensure the quality of data flowing through integrations, which feeds the pricing engine and search platform.
- Contribute to the team's work on expanding what can offer, such as mix-and-match transfers and more flexible accommodation options.
- Develop strong views on how the supply systems should evolve and take on increasingly complex work over time.
Requirements
- Comfortable building and maintaining backend services in C# / .NET Core.
- Understanding of relational databases (MySQL and SQL Server) and ability to write performant queries.
- Experience working with third-party APIs, understanding documentation, error handling, and retry logic.
- Ability to work through ambiguity by reading API docs, asking good questions, and figuring things out.
- Communicate clearly with non-technical people.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure (Azure), or frontend work with React/Next.js.
