Junior Trading Settlement Analyst

TL;DR

Junior Trading Settlement Analyst (Finance): Ensuring timely settlement of commodities trades including Gas, Power, and Derivatives with an accent on invoice production, data integrity, and counterparty relationship management. Focus on collaborating with Front Office and Finance teams to resolve trade disputes and optimize workflow processes within the Endur trading system.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Liaise with Risk, Legal, IT, and Finance teams to maintain data integrity within trading systems.
• Support the trading desk in counterparty relationships and resolve trade disputes.
• Generate and process sales and purchase invoices according to contractual terms.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports with commentary for management.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with counterparties and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in settlement or invoicing processes for energy trades is preferred.
• Previous experience with trading systems, specifically Endur.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Degree level education or equivalent.
