What you will do

• Operate and tune PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle databases within the AWS cloud environment.
• Collaborate with product development teams on database enhancements, query authoring, and runtime optimization.
• Conduct capacity planning and database consolidation to ensure scalable architecture.
• Provide guidance to project teams on suitable database solutions and best architectural practices.
• Contribute to automation efforts to improve database service quality, stability, and security.
• Participate in on-call support rotations to maintain high service availability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in database management.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing production PostgreSQL and MongoDB systems.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud database management and engineering.
• Strong SQL development skills and experience with relational database query authoring.
• Experience in managing database changes in large-scale environments.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with database monitoring tools beyond CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices for database services.
• Development experience within the database area.
