What you will do

• Design, implement, and extend index calculation and reference data software functionality.
• Write high-quality testable code with performance in mind.
• Maintain highly available systems and design modern, scalable applications.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests.
• Help with production operations and ensure features are correctly implemented.
• Collaborate across business lines to provide accurate and efficient time to market.

Requirements

• Strong Java/Spring/Kafka development experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Strong understanding of ETL techniques and data pipeline architecture.
• Working Linux and Windows knowledge.
• Ability to implement features with necessary performance and/or scaling characteristics.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in financial markets or similar.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Working domain knowledge of financial securities and derivatives products.
