What you will do

• Work with internal stakeholders in Finance, HR, and Legal to deeply understand their workflows and identify high-impact opportunities for AI automation.
• Work cross-functionally to bridge the gap between technical possibility and business need, ensuring that every AI agent you build helps a colleague do their best work.
• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and agentic workflows using LLMs to automate complex tasks.
• Move from "idea" to "prototype" in days, not months, iterating quickly based on direct feedback from your users.
• Ensure the AI tools you build are reliable, measurable, and seamlessly integrated into our existing ecosystem of tools.
• Approach every internal request with empathy and kindness, ensuring that AI tools are built to empower and support our people, not just to optimize metrics.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (Git, testing, clean code).
• Understanding of agentic workflows and connectivity to data sources. Awareness of security and data access concerns, including understanding of application permission models and audit logging.

Nice to have

• Experience working with AI tools for software development (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
• A portfolio of AI projects, either personal or professional, including—AI bots, agents, or automations
• Experience with hirify.global, Apache Kafka, or similar event streaming platforms
• Familiarity with G&A tooling (e.g., Greenhouse, Netsuite, Ironclad, or Slack API).
• Previous experience in a startup or a "forward-deployed" capacity.
