Location: Bellevue, Washington; Seattle, Washington

Salary: $140,000 — $180,000 USD

What you will do

  • Design and implement in areas that leapfrog existing state-of-the-art systems.
  • Work on query compilation & optimization.
  • Work on distributed query execution and scheduling.
  • Work on vectorized engine execution.
  • Work on data security.
  • Work on efficient storage structures (encoding, indexes).

Requirements

  • PhD in databases or systems.
  • A passion for database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, language design, and/or performance optimization.
  • Motivated by delivering customer value and impact.
