Control Automation Engineer (Automotive): Coordinating Machines and Automation efforts on new program launches, revising manufacturing processes, and implementing improvements with an accent on reducing scrap, increasing operational efficiency, and reducing cycle time. Focus on programming existing equipment, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

What you will do

Coordinate Machines and Automation efforts on new program launches.
Assist in problem solving and continuous process improvements.
Document and present findings of improvements to management.
Oversee tooling, fixture, and gauge design.
Program existing equipment and support manufacturing lines.
Design electrical and pneumatic controls using AutoCAD Electrical.

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering or High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience as a Control Automation Engineer.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and Motion Control.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and APQP quality principles.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills.
