What you will do

• Design and implement in areas that leapfrog existing state-of-the-art systems.
• Work on query compilation & optimization.
• Work on distributed query execution and scheduling.
• Work on efficient storage structures (encoding, indexes).
• Work on automatic physical data optimization.

Requirements

• PhD in databases or systems.
• A passion for database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, language design, and/or performance optimization.
