What you will do

• Design and enhance microservices focused on payment processing, integrations, and financial tooling.
• Implement and maintain asynchronous communication patterns to ensure data consistency and system speed.
• Take full ownership of service behavior by implementing tracking, monitoring, and managing production alerts/issues.
• Rapidly assimilate and apply knowledge regarding specific payment schemes (Swift, SEPA, etc.) and technical documentation.
• Work effectively within a distributed international team, participating in Agile ceremonies and meeting delivery goals.

Requirements

• Expert/Senior-level Python proficiency for backend development.
• Professional experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication.
• Practical experience in publishing, consuming, and processing data streams using Kafka.
• Experience deploying and operating services within orchestrated environments using Kubernetes (K8s).

Nice to have

• Mandatory background in international payments, local payouts, or card processing (regulated environments).
• Ability to interpret and implement technical schemas such as ISO 20022 or Swift documentation.
