What you will do

• Draft, edit, and coordinate approval of press releases, media advisories, Q&As, and fact sheets.
• Maintain daily contact with journalists, respond to inquiries, proactively pitch stories, and coordinate interviews.
• Assist in organizing and executing press events, influencer activations, and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage media monitoring, reporting, and internal trackers.
• Ensure message consistency across paid, earned, shared, and owned media.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure alignment of messaging and act as a brand guardian in external communication.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, media relations, or journalism.
• Strong sense of autonomy and ownership of tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with media databases, monitoring platforms, and CMS/social media tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an agency, a startup, or a media environment.
• Knowledge of crisis communication protocols or reputation management.
• Exposure to public affairs or stakeholder engagement.
