TL;DR

Head of PCM & Grant Management: Leading the global Grants Management Function, setting technical direction, policies, and tools for PCM and Grants Management. Focus on standardizing approaches, developing compliance practices, and ensuring high-quality programming across NRC.

Location: Oslo Norway, Rep Offices in Belgium, Germany or the UK, or any other EoR listed country, Regional or Country Offices that are within +/- 2 hours of the CET time zone. Please note that NRC must have an operational office in the selected country and you must have the right to live or work in that country.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the PCM and Grants Management Function, standardising approaches and maintaining the PCM and Grants Management framework.
• Provide technical guidance and support on PCM and Grants Management to various teams within NRC, including NORCAP.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Cycles, NRC's digital grants management system.
• Ensure training and capacity building of staff on grants management, proposal writing, donor rules, and PCM.
• Establish and maintain a community of practice for PCM and Grants Management.
• Lead the Internally Competing Proposals process in collaboration with relevant colleagues.

Requirements

• Relevant higher education, preferably at master’s degree level.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including leadership or management within the humanitarian/development field.
• Familiar with programme and other quality standards, donor requirements and trends in the humanitarian sector.
• Fluency in English both written and verbal. Knowledge of German, Spanish, French or Arabic is an asset.
• Technical understanding of PCM and Grants Management.
• Experience in leading teams, with remote team leadership experience as an advantage.
