What you will do

• Translate strategic vision into high-impact visual stories and prototypes for AI-driven travel experiences.
• Lead through UI and visual design craft, applying high‑fidelity prototyping to explore and communicate concepts.
• Advance next‑generation interfaces by envisioning new paradigms for conversational and adaptive AI-driven experiences.
• Evolve Expedia’s design system to support AI‑native patterns and intelligent interface behaviors.
• Develop visual frameworks that promote consistency, trust, and clarity across all surfaces.
• Partner with research and data teams to translate insights into adaptive design strategies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Cognitive Science, or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI and visual design craft through modern digital product interfaces.
• Expertise defining and evolving UI patterns and interface-level design systems for intelligent interaction models.
• Mastery in visual design, UI layout, component design, and high‑fidelity prototyping.
• Experience designing AI-powered interfaces with strategies for state management and multimodal interaction patterns.
