What you will do

• Own the development of software end to end, from working with stakeholders on requirements through to owning the ongoing operations of the software that you build at scale.
• Work with a global team to tackle new challenges.
• Experiment and learn from successes and failures.

Requirements

• Must be in the final semester/trimester of a university undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have completed university studies within the past 24 months (Dec 2024 - Jun 2026).
• Able to commence a role from Mar to June 2026.
• Enrolled/Completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant tertiary institution.
• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform).
• Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Experience in optimization mathematics (linear programming, nonlinear optimization).

Nice to have

• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Experience developing software on hirify.global Web Services (AWS) platforms.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
