What you will do
- Design and optimize process-relevant chemical transformations to support discovery programs.
- Apply high-throughput experimentation (HTE) for reaction screening and process optimization.
- Build workflows connecting reaction setup, analytical readout, and automated data capture.
- Collaborate with platform, automation, and AI teams to enable robotics-based experimentation.
- Develop digitally enabled workflows to ensure data quality, reproducibility, and computational integration.
- Evaluate reaction performance based on engineering metrics like scalability, yield, and robustness.
Requirements
- PhD in Process Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline with industry or postdoctoral experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in process chemistry or reaction development.
- Demonstrated experience applying engineering principles to process design and optimization.
- Familiarity with HTE platforms, reaction workup, and analytical instrumentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team across chemistry, analytics, and engineering.
- Experience managing experimental data for reproducibility and digital systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in biotech or pharma R&D environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled experimental workflows.
- Knowledge of miniaturized process screening and robotics integration.
- Background in digital chemistry tools and ELN systems.
