What you will do

• Design and optimize process-relevant chemical transformations to support discovery programs.
• Apply high-throughput experimentation (HTE) for reaction screening and process optimization.
• Build workflows connecting reaction setup, analytical readout, and automated data capture.
• Collaborate with platform, automation, and AI teams to enable robotics-based experimentation.
• Develop digitally enabled workflows to ensure data quality, reproducibility, and computational integration.
• Evaluate reaction performance based on engineering metrics like scalability, yield, and robustness.

Requirements

• PhD in Process Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline with industry or postdoctoral experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in process chemistry or reaction development.
• Demonstrated experience applying engineering principles to process design and optimization.
• Familiarity with HTE platforms, reaction workup, and analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team across chemistry, analytics, and engineering.
• Experience managing experimental data for reproducibility and digital systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in biotech or pharma R&D environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled experimental workflows.
