What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services with .NET and frontend interfaces using Angular.
• Lead registry modernization initiatives, including legacy containerization and runtime upgrades.
• Optimize data-layer performance and scalability for mission-critical financial applications.
• Drive architectural decisions and integrate observability, security, and performance best practices.
• Own solutions from design through deployment, establishing CI/CD and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineering team members and foster a high-quality, ownership-driven culture.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Toronto, Canada.
• Strong experience building production systems with .NET (Core/6+/8) and C#.
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and RESTful API design.
• Practical experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server and relational data modeling.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Kubernetes.
• Background in system modernization, refactoring, or legacy platform evolution.
• Database performance optimization skills.
• Exposure to AI-driven QA tools like Playwright or Cypress.
