Business Analyst (Retail)

Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom (Liverpool office available for hybrid work).

What you will do

• Elicit and validate business needs through workshops, observation, and quantitative analysis.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance teams.
• Manage the product backlog in coordination with Product Managers to ensure alignment on value and risk.
• Maintain requirement traceability throughout the SDLC to ensure project success and benefit delivery.
• Ensure project adherence to data privacy, information security, and regulatory governance.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
• Strong experience in Business or Systems Analysis within complex multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proficiency in requirements engineering, process mapping, and systems analysis.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with a degree or equivalent experience in Business or IT.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as IIBA (ECBA/CCBA/CBAP).
• BCS Business Analysis certification.
• Specific Agile (SAFe) or Product management certifications.
