TL;DR

Commission Producer (Music On-Demand): Shaping and growing on-demand podcast brands and music content with an accent on audience engagement and multi-platform strategy. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Broadcasting House, London (Hybrid)

Salary: £42,000 - £55,000

What you will do

  • Oversee the growth of distinctive content across podcast, visual podcast, and playlist slates.
  • Develop and shape creative ideas that reflect music culture for specific target audiences.
  • Utilize audience insight and performance data to inform strategy and evolve content formats.
  • Work cross-functionally with talent, labels, and influencers to grow brand titles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, social, and editorial to deliver cohesive multi-platform campaigns.
  • Guide on-demand growth strategies in partnership with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing creative content across audio, visual, or digital platforms.
  • Deep understanding of contemporary music culture, social trends, and on-demand listening behaviors.
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to translate data into actionable creative strategy.
  • Experience managing projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
  • Must have eligibility to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Background in marketing, audience development, or digital strategy.
  • Familiarity with music discovery formats and platform-specific strategies.
  • Knowledge of digital rights, music clearances, or talent management processes.
  • Experience with social-first brand development and online community engagement.
