What you will do

• Define and drive the technical vision and project architecture.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams across gameplay, graphics, and systems domains.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and stability throughout development.
• Oversee implementation of UE5 systems including rendering, streaming, physics, and networking.
• Collaborate with Art, Design, and Production to align technical and creative goals.
• Participate in hands-on development using C++ and Blueprints when required.

Requirements

• Must be located in Europe
• Proven experience as a Technical Director or Lead Engineer in game development.
• Deep expertise with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) and C++.
• Solid background in FPS or action game development.
• Strong team leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience hiring, growing, and managing high-performing engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AAA projects or remakes.
• Knowledge of networking and multiplayer systems.
• Proficiency with modern UE5 features like Nanite, Lumen, and World Partition.
