What you will do

• Produce high-quality effects including muscle, skin, cloth, hair, and fur simulations in Houdini.
• Interpret complex creative briefs while balancing artistic quality with technical performance.
• Develop and maintain scalable, team-friendly CFX set-ups and tools.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve pipeline and workflow challenges.
• Refine simulation work using sculpt tools to add final details.
• Contribute to the development of Houdini-based CFX pipelines.

Requirements

• Current and full work permit for the UK is required.
• Strong professional experience in a similar CFX role, specifically on creature projects.
• Thorough knowledge of Houdini is essential.
• Solid understanding of Python and VEX scripting.
• Experience with Vellum and dynamic simulation systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, deadline-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of grooming workflows.
• Experience with Ziva muscle system.
• Previous experience working on commercials.
