What you will do

• Own the setup and management of the payment infrastructure, including Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, and Paddle integrations.
• Design and implement scalable processes for payment routing, cascading, and recovery to improve conversion and retention.
• Build and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and internal documentation for all merchant and billing operations.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and support teams to identify gaps and drive continuous improvements.
• Manage end-to-end payment-related user communication, notifications, and billing recovery flows.
• Establish standardized support processes for handling complex payment issues, chargebacks, and fraud investigations.

Requirements

• Strong professional background in payments, merchant operations, or billing infrastructure.
• Mandatory experience in mobile or web-based subscription products.
• Deep functional knowledge of subscription billing lifecycles, including renewals, retries, and refunds.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing PSPs like Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, or Paddle.
• Proven ability to manage fraud, disputes, and chargeback operations.
• Demonstrated experience working with product and engineering teams to scale payment operations.
