Location: Must be on-site in Mossville, IL five days a week. Relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead the battery design team from concept to certification, delivering battery solutions for customers.
• Lead battery system decision matrix activities, gaining consensus across the organization.
• Analyze options and tradeoffs throughout the project to move the team forward.
• Leverage product and process knowledge to develop project R&D and material estimates.
• Develop detailed resource loading and high-level project plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to clearly summarize and communicate areas of risk and suggest opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
• Extensive experience in decision-making and critical thinking related to battery solutions.
• Extensive experience in effective communications, including adapting presentations for various audiences.
• Extensive experience in project management, including managing high-risk, high-cost projects.
• Extensive experience in computer-aided design & engineering.

Nice to have

• Knowledge in battery cell, module, pack and/or system design.
• Knowledge in battery electric powertrain integration.
• Knowledge in battery performance / data analysis.
