TL;DR

Senior UX Researcher (Uiux Design): Leading research initiatives for the B2C Product Details Page (PDP) across hirify.global and TripAdvisor with an accent on translating qualitative findings, VoC signals, and behavioral data into actionable insights. Focus on influencing the product roadmap in a complex, global marketplace and elevating the quality of insights across the organization.

Location: This role is a hybrid position that requires 1-2 days per month in our London or Oxford office.

What you will do

  • Lead large-scale initiatives, including international benchmarking and quarterly planning, ensuring research outputs directly influence the product roadmap.
  • Drive a high-velocity stream of rapid-response research to support immediate PDP optimizations and design iterations.
  • Synthesize multiple data streams to provide a 360-degree view of traveler pain points and opportunities.
  • Lead large-scale survey design and analysis, using Excel/Google Sheets to interpret statistical trends.
  • Establish best practices, templates, and rigorous standards that elevate the quality of insights across the organization.
  • Confidently field and shape ambiguous research asks into clear, actionable research plans.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional applied research experience.
  • Minimum BA/BSc degree in psychology, HCI, design, communication, statistics or other related field
  • Understand business metrics and can identify when a research finding suggests a feature won't move the needle on key business goals.
  • Deep experience triangulating qual with quant and comfortable with statistical basics.
  • Proven ability to contribute and influence research and product roadmaps at the leadership level.
  • Expertise in high-intent B2C environments (travel, marketplaces, or fintech) where information architecture and trust signals are paramount.
  • Ability to thrive in a "no-ops" environment, managing the full research lifecycle with high autonomy.
  • Experience (or a strong desire) to lead international research that uncovers cultural nuances in the traveler journey.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset

Nice to have

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline the research lifecycle and extract insights from large-scale qualitative datasets.
  • Experience partnering closely with Data Science teams to validate qualitative hypotheses through A/B testing or large-scale surveys.
  • Experience with self-service tools like Amplitude or SQL to pull behavioral signals independently.
