Staff Solutions Architect (Germany)

Location: Remote, based in Germany (DACH region)

Salary: €165,000 – €185,000 OTE

hirify.global is an open source programming model that can simplify code, make applications more reliable, and help developers focus on the important things like delivering features faster.

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping and sizing opportunities and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges across the DACH region.
• Lead customer discovery to understand architecture, constraints, and success criteria, and map those to hirify.global-based solutions.
• Design end-to-end reference architectures that demonstrate how hirify.global fits into existing services, data stores, and infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on guidance on best practices for workflow and activity design, testing strategies, and operationalization of hirify.global in production.
• Capture and communicate customer feedback and feature requests into Product, influencing roadmap and prioritization.
• Represent hirify.global in customer meetings, executive briefings, and at community events or conferences across the DACH market.

Requirements

• Significant experience in customer-facing, technical pre-sales or post-sales roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Field Engineer, or equivalent.
• Strong background in designing and operating distributed systems or cloud-native applications, with a deep understanding of reliability, scalability, and failure modes.
• Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of hirify.global’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, Ruby, or PHP.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and common infrastructure components including networking, messaging, observability, and CI/CD.
• Experience working with or advising large customers in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with comfort navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to earn trust with senior engineers and technical leaders.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with hirify.global or similar workflow/orchestration, event-driven, or durable execution systems.
• German language skills are highly preferred, along with strong English communication in both written and spoken form.
• Familiarity with common patterns such as event sourcing, CQRS, microservices, and data-intensive or low-latency systems.
• Experience speaking at meetups, conferences, or producing technical content such as blogs, videos, or sample code for developer audiences.
