Senior Fullstack Developer (Medtech)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Developer (Medtech): You will work on a medical image annotation application built in collaboration with Mount Sinai Health System in New York, supporting clinical researchers working with real patient data at scale. Focus on designing secure authorization concepts and data protection architecture.

Location: Potsdam, Berlin, and Singapore. Flexible working models with the option to work from home.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship high-quality frontend and backend features.
• Contribute to software design and architecture decisions, and take part in code reviews across the full stack.
• Work closely with designers, QA, and product management as part of an integrated team.
• Engage directly with customers and users to build a deep, end-to-end understanding of the product.
• Design with security at the core, shaping authorization concepts and data protection architecture.

Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer or full-stack developer, or equivalent experience.
• Strong frontend skills: deep fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React or equivalent.
• Solid backend experience: proficiency in Go (Golang), Kubernetes, and Docker, or equivalent.
• Experience with relational databases; we use PostgreSQL.
• Professional written and spoken English, German language skills a plus.
