What you will do
- Track and maintain vendor records, including contracts, renewals, pricing, SLAs, and contact databases using Google Workspace, Jira, and internal tools.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding workflows from NDA through contract execution, tracking deliverables and milestones.
- Support RFQ processes by preparing and distributing RFQs to prospective vendors and organizing responses.
- Research new vendors and market options for infrastructure expansion and assist with pricing analysis and vendor comparison.
- Work with network engineering, legal, and finance on vendor-related tasks, escalating items as needed.
- Participate in vendor calls, initially supporting and taking notes, with the goal of directly managing vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain clean spreadsheets and timely follow-ups.
- Clear written communication skills for drafting vendor emails and internal updates.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including tracking spreadsheets and pricing tables.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity.
- Intellectual curiosity about datacenters, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
- Self-starter who can take a task, define "done," and achieve it.
Nice to have
- Internship or coursework in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management.
- Familiarity with basic infrastructure concepts like colocation, IP transit, and datacenter power/cooling.
- Experience with project management or CRM tools such as Jira, Salesforce, or Notion.
- Exposure to contract language (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs).
