Associate Director (Fintech)

TL;DR

Associate Director (Fintech): Generating growth within a portfolio and identifying new opportunities across trade products with an accent on traditional trade, open account, structured trade, commodity finance, and asset finance. Focus on defining sales strategy, maintaining product relationships, and meeting risk and profitability requirements to deliver targeted growth.

Location: Hybrid, at least two days per week at our office site in London.

What you will do

• Define the sales strategy and business plans for an allocated portfolio, securing strategic internal support from partners.
• Actively maintain product relationships within the portfolio of existing and agreed target clients.
• Identify customer needs to develop, structure, and review proposals to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare and submit credit applications in conjunction with Coverage, aligned with defined strategy.
• Develop and implement client sales and product relationship calling plans.
• Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to influence the development of key new product service initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical understanding of Trade and Working Capital products.
• Experience managing, originating, and providing solutions to Large Corporate clients (>£500m annual turnover).
• Demonstrable success in Trade Sales and Business Development.
