TL;DR

Business Development & Customer Success Manager (Healthcare): Driving revenue growth and client satisfaction for a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) with an accent on consultative sales and long-term account strategy. Location: Must be based in the US (preference for candidates living within the assigned market)

What you will do

  • Drive territory growth by recruiting new members through a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach.
  • Manage existing client relationships to increase contracted spend participation and program engagement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for executive-level stakeholders (C-suite, VPs, Directors) to influence strategy.
  • Conduct in-person client business reviews (CBRs) to analyze performance, mitigate risk, and identify savings opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal implementation teams to ensure seamless contract activation and program onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline data, and sales forecasting to ensure operational transparency.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a consultative environment.
  • Experience in GPO account management, healthcare supply chain, or distribution is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel and conduct regular in-person business meetings within the assigned territory.
  • Strong expertise in CRM software for pipeline management and lead tracking.
  • Demonstrated success in executive-level presentation and high-level negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable procurement strategies.

  • Background in food service or medical-surgical distribution.
  • Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, or behavioral health operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement processes and cost-optimization strategies.
