Salary: $150,000–$210,000

What you will do

• Design and implement iOS components interfacing with hardware via BLE and Wi-Fi.
• Develop system-level background services for reliable device connectivity and synchronization.
• Build reactive data pipelines using Swift and Combine to ensure efficient data transfer.
• Collaborate with firmware, mobile, and backend teams to resolve complex cross-platform issues.
• Optimize connectivity performance, power efficiency, and software reliability.
• Manage the full release process from build variants and testing to App Store submission.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Boston, MA (relocation support provided if necessary)
• 3+ years of professional iOS software engineering experience.
• Solid foundation in Swift, iOS system APIs, concurrency, and memory management.
• Hands-on experience with Combine and background task processing for non-UI features.
• Strong commitment to leveraging AI tools for high-quality code contributions.
• Ability to apply architectural design principles for scalable and testable software.

• Experience debugging distributed systems involving firmware and backend interactions.
