What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of core iOS platform capabilities including app architecture, navigation, and shared UI components.
• Drive technical planning, scoping, and sequencing for complex, cross-functional mobile initiatives.
• Deliver high-quality member-facing features using Swift while ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Improve app reliability and performance through proactive testing, observability, and efficient release practices.
• Establish shared engineering standards through code reviews and detailed architectural documentation.
• Mentor other engineers through pairing, feedback, and active knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Significant experience building, testing, debugging, and shipping production-ready native iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency with Swift, iOS frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, XCTest), and modern architectural patterns like MVVM.
• Proven track record leading technical planning for complex, cross-cutting mobile initiatives.
• Deep understanding of performance fundamentals including memory management, profiling, and concurrency.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with backend services, RESTful APIs, and authentication flows.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Boston, MA for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Experience building shared mobile foundations across platforms (e.g., Android collaboration).
• Experience contributing to backend services and APIs using Java.
