What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services within a cloud-native environment.
• Own product features from initial design through implementation and production deployment.
• Manage core infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
• Optimize system performance and reliability while ensuring maintainable code standards.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools and define team best practices for AI adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineers in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade distributed systems.
• Strong backend development experience with cloud-based services and API design.
• Expertise in AWS infrastructure including SQS, EKS, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Go or Ruby-based backend architectures.
• Pragmatic, product-minded approach with a focus on business value and scalability.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI agents using platforms like AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
