Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Raanana, Israel (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote).

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of backend and data-centric components for a cloud-native platform on AWS.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle from requirements and architecture to coding, testing, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain scalable, observable services within the Actimize NXT Gen ecosystem.
• Act as a technical authority by guiding design, performing code reviews, and mentoring team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed microservice architectures and data stores.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, and architects in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience with Java or similar JVM-based OOP languages.
• Strong technical expertise in AWS services such as DynamoDB, EKS, S3, and Lambda.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade cloud services.
