About the Role

You will own the developer platform surface including external APIs, SDKs, authentication systems, webhooks, sandbox environments, and core developer tooling. You will translate complex payment and compliance systems into intuitive developer-facing abstractions, define API contracts and lifecycle practices, and partner with engineers and product leads on implementation. You will engage directly with developers and partners to gather feedback, run pilot programs, track platform health metrics, and troubleshoot integration and authentication issues to improve reliability and time-to-integration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience with ownership of external developer-facing APIs, SDKs, or platforms
• Experience defining API contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger), authentication systems (OAuth, API keys), idempotency models, and webhooks
• Experience building or scaling high-volume transaction systems in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for financial products such as money transmission, KYC/AML, payouts, reconciliation, and wallet balances
• Experience collaborating across multiple PMs in a pod or platform structure and influencing without direct authority
• Strong technical fluency and ability to partner with senior engineers on architecture and implementation
• Comfort engaging directly with customers and prospects and translating feedback into product requirements
• Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial outcomes and regulatory constraints
• Passion for developer experience and documentation as product surfaces
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and building new capabilities in fast-moving regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, roadmap, and execution for developer-facing platform surfaces including APIs, SDKs, authentication, webhooks, and sandbox
• Define and evolve REST APIs and SDKs for mobile, PC, console, and web integrations
• Establish API lifecycle management practices including versioning, backward compatibility, deprecation strategy, and reliability targets
• Partner with developer experience to ensure documentation, onboarding flows, dashboards, and tooling are effective
• Translate payment and compliance flows into compliant developer primitives
• Collaborate with engineering on API contracts (OpenAPI), authentication models, idempotency, and event-driven architecture
• Engage with game developers and partners during sales and onboarding to gather feedback and reduce integration friction
• Run pilot programs with early partners and iterate based on real integration experiences
• Define and track platform health metrics such as adoption, activation, time-to-first-transaction, integration success rate, and API reliability
• Investigate and debug integration issues, review OpenAPI specs, and refine SDK interfaces
