Systems Engineer SME

TL;DR

Systems Engineer SME (Infrastructure/DevSecOps): Planning, designing, and implementing network hardware and server infrastructure for a mission-critical forensic ecosystem with an accent on secure multi-enclave environments and systems reliability. Focus on engineering cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, virtualization, and containerization technologies.

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chantilly, VA.

What you will do

• Design and implement enhancements to network hardware and server infrastructure.
• Provide operational support for network hardware, operating systems, and multi-enclave environments.
• Troubleshoot complex communication and system problems at logical and physical levels.
• Develop strategies for client/server infrastructure and data storage solutions.
• Ensure systems remain secure, compliant with accreditation standards, and fully patched.
• Collaborate within Agile Release Train and Program Increment activities.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required with eligibility for SCI and CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Expert knowledge in Linux and Windows OS, virtualization, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and scripting (Python, C#).
• Must be available for 100% onsite work in Chantilly, VA.

Nice to have

• Relevant systems and cloud certifications.
• Experience with Nutanix platform.
• Advanced proficiency in DevSecOps practices.
