Elastic Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Elastic Engineer (Cybersecurity): Developing and implementing new capabilities and maintaining existing infrastructure for complex cyber automation with an accent on the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). Focus on building, securing, and delivering hardware and software updates within classified Linux environments.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement capabilities using the Elastic stack in a Linux environment.
• Maintain and support infrastructure and applications for complex cyber automation.
• Integrate software tools using REST APIs and SOAP.
• Manage hardware and software updates through testing and production readiness reviews.
• Collaborate with teams to provide innovative solutions to unusually complex problems.
• Mentor junior team members in both technical and professional competencies.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph required
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of related experience
• Active IAT Level II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications required by onboarding
• Experience with Elastic stack in a design or developer role
• Programming proficiency in Bash, Java, and Python
• Software development experience within classified Linux environments

Nice to have

• Experience with Kibana dashboard development, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Familiarity with Agile development tools like Jira and Confluence
• Cybersecurity experience in SIEM, Incident Response, or Threat Intelligence
• Experience supporting full lifecycle A&A processes for DoD or IC infrastructure
