What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for security telemetry ingestion and processing
• Build and optimize ML-powered detection systems including UEBA and anomaly detection
• Architect efficient storage and querying solutions for large security datasets
• Create prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new security tools and analytics
• Leverage AI models like Claude to enhance detection and response capabilities
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams and mentor engineers

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience focused on security, infrastructure, or data pipelines
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with test-driven development, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong Python coding skills and experience building scalable cloud services
• Ability to lead technical projects and cross-functional security initiatives
• Outstanding communication skills and systems thinking in complex environments

Nice to have

• Experience building security tooling and monitoring solutions (SIEM, EDR)
• Background in detection engineering or security operations
• Experience with SOAR platforms, data lake/database architecture, and API design
• Applying ML/AI to security problems and scaling security operations in high-growth environments
