Location: Must be based in the United States

Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Define and execute developer advocacy strategies and initiatives to track community engagement and product outcomes.
• Create technical content including webinars, tutorials, reference architectures, and sample applications.
• Represent the company at North American industry conferences, meetups, and across social media platforms.
• Act as a feedback conduit to the Engineering and Product teams by translating external community observations into actionable insights.
• Foster community adoption of SpiceDB open source projects and enterprise services.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish quarterly priorities and long-term advocacy vision.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 3+ years of experience in developer relations, developer experience, or community-focused roles.
• 2+ years of professional programming experience.
• Strong background working with commercial open source projects.
• Proven ability to teach developers through live streams, videos, and public speaking at technical conferences.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage travel requirements for industry events.
