What you will do

• Design and build event-driven billing systems for real-time usage data processing.
• Integrate with Stripe and Orb for billing, invoicing, and usage metering workflows.
• Develop Python-based microservices using Kubernetes for scalable billing operations.
• Build and maintain Next.js dashboards for internal insights and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Finance and Product teams to automate revenue analytics and support new pricing models.
• Ensure system accuracy and auditability for high-scale financial data.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python for backend microservices.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and data pipelines.
• Experience with Stripe, Orb, or similar billing and monetization platforms.
• Proficiency with Postgres and BigQuery for transactional and analytical data.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployment environments.
• Must be located in or willing to work from downtown San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience in Fintech or SaaS scaling.
• Familiarity with pricing experimentation platforms.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and billing models.
