Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 CAD per year

Industries is an independent studio behind the successful military first-person shooter game, “Squad”, and has expanded into serving as a publisher supporting mods and has released their newest title, "Starship Troopers: Extermination".
What you will do
- Develop, improve, and maintain Unreal-Engine-based game build pipelines and related tools to reduce wait times and lower operational costs.
- Develop and improve scalable and maintainable infrastructure, on premise and in the cloud, for delivering games and their contents efficiently and effectively.
- Champion automation to solve build, testing, and content delivery challenges on AAA-quality games.
- Collaborate with game teams to optimize their respective workflows around the build infrastructure.
- Implement, deploy, and operate testing and profiling frameworks for games.
Requirements
- CI/CD build systems such as Jenkins for building a game on the Unreal Engine for PC and console platforms.
- Previous experience with managing and operating build systems is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Perforce.
- Know how to setup a performant build and release pipeline using tools provided by the Unreal Engine.
- Broad understanding of automated testing methodologies.
- Good working knowledge of Powershell, batch, and shell scripting, and other scripting languages commonly used in a build pipeline.
- Effective communication with strong written and verbal skills in addition to the ability to write concise, understandable technical documentation.
Nice to have
- Unreal Engine 5 and its build tools.
- C# and C++.
- AAA game development using the Unreal or Unity engine.
- Building for and distributing to console platforms in a AAA game studio for an Unreal Engine game.
- Container orchestration and management tools (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
