What you will do

• Collaborate with the CTO to develop and ship foundational product capabilities.
• Design and implement system architecture and select key technologies for the platform.
• Champion user experience and guide design decisions to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Establish engineering best practices and technical standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco.
• Proven track record in zero-to-one product development.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Comfortable thriving in the fast-paced, ambiguous environment of an early-stage startup.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, GRPC, Kubernetes, React, TypeScript, AWS, or Terraform.
• Previous experience at an early-stage startup.
• Background in building applied AI products.
