What you will do

• Own and develop foundational models for a large-scale recommendation ecosystem.
• Experiment with and implement cutting-edge machine learning innovations like LLM agents and MMoE models.
• Design for high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency in production-grade ML environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Scientists.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices, research application, and scalable ML workflows.
• Lead strategic projects from design through to deployment with measurable impact.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and DevOps tools like Kubernetes.
• 2+ years of experience designing and deploying online production-grade ML systems.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Deep understanding of DNN architectures and distributed computing.
• 1+ year of experience leading projects involving at least one other team member.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ML serving solutions like Ray, Databricks, KubeFlow, or W&B.
• Experience with knowledge distillation and specialized recommender system architectures.
• Strong skills in managing large streaming pipelines and data orchestrators like Argo or Airflow.
