What you will do
- Own and develop foundational models for a large-scale recommendation ecosystem.
- Experiment with and implement cutting-edge machine learning innovations like LLM agents and MMoE models.
- Design for high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency in production-grade ML environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Scientists.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices, research application, and scalable ML workflows.
- Lead strategic projects from design through to deployment with measurable impact.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and DevOps tools like Kubernetes.
- 2+ years of experience designing and deploying online production-grade ML systems.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Deep understanding of DNN architectures and distributed computing.
- 1+ year of experience leading projects involving at least one other team member.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ML serving solutions like Ray, Databricks, KubeFlow, or W&B.
- Experience with knowledge distillation and specialized recommender system architectures.
- Strong skills in managing large streaming pipelines and data orchestrators like Argo or Airflow.
