Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate scalable and resilient distributed services running on Kubernetes or ECS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand and optimize the recommendation service platform.
• Influence the technical roadmap and overall product development strategy.
• Mentor and develop other team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• At least 2+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Strong competency in backend languages such as Java, Go, C++, or Node.js.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and designing high-traffic distributed backend systems.
• Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguous business requirements with a focus on execution.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or Spark.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
