Senior PLL Design Engineer (CMOS): Driving the architecture and implementation of advanced PLLs for automotive Ethernet applications with an accent on high-performance, power-efficient designs in advanced CMOS nodes. Focus on executing the full design cycle from specification and study to test-chip evaluation and production in a collaborative mixed-signal team environment.

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Utrecht, The Netherlands (On-site role).

What you will do

• Drive the architecture and physical implementation of advanced PLL designs.
• Manage the full design cycle from initial specifications through study, test-chip validation, and production qualification.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Analog Front-End, Layout, DSP, Digital, Firmware, and System teams.
• Contribute to the development of high-efficiency silicon solutions for automotive data transport.
• Participate in design evaluations and refinements based on performance and system-level requirements.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in PLL design within advanced CMOS nodes.
• MSc or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (EE).
• Experience working within professional Mixed-Signal IC design teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with RTL, Verilog, C++, and Python.
• Background in Ethernet AFE development.
