About the Role

You will own portfolio-level scientific direction, evaluating and prioritizing projects and making clear go/no-go recommendations. You will translate AI-generated hypotheses into experimental validation plans and oversee their execution. You will design and run scalable scientific diligence processes, assess regulatory and translational risk, and guide programs through preclinical and clinical stages. You will recruit, mentor, and grow scientific talent, represent scientific work externally, and build AI-native workflows that scale scientific judgment.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent scientific depth
• Meaningful exposure to drug development and approval processes
• Experience with preclinical development and IND-enabling studies
• Familiarity with clinical trial stages and regulatory interaction
• Senior scientific leadership with portfolio-level experience
• Track record of attracting, advising, or leading researchers
• Interest in AI-native approaches to scientific work
