What you will do

• Define and lead the product security strategy across the entire platform lifecycle.
• Architect and implement platform-wide security features including reputation systems and anti-abuse primitives.
• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for new product features.
• Partner with engineering teams to design secure APIs and scalable data flows.
• Develop secure-by-default internal tooling and frameworks to enhance developer velocity.
• Lead incident response efforts, deep postmortems, and proactive defense improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software or security engineering with staff-level scope.
• Proven expertise in mitigating adversarial behavior, bots, and Sybil attacks.
• Strong background in threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure architecture design.
• Hands-on experience securing production systems handling millions of daily users.
• Proficiency in backend development using Python, Go, Node.js, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems security, authentication, and identity mechanisms.

Nice to have

• Experience in adversarial ML or securing voting/reputation platforms.
• Knowledge of user fingerprinting and behavioral analytics methods.
• Background in securing real-time, interactive platforms at scale.
