Senior IT and Security Engineer

What you will do

• Set the technical direction for identity, endpoint management, and access controls.
• Design Okta-based SSO, SCIM, group and role models, lifecycle automation, and audit-ready access reviews.
• Own endpoint strategy across an Apple-heavy fleet using Intune, Apple Business Manager, and CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Extend least-privilege and entitlement models across source control, cloud data platforms, hosting, and managed infrastructure.
• Automate manual workflows with Okta Workflows, Google APIs, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Build runbooks, escalation paths, onboarding and offboarding procedures, and operational documentation while participating in on-call support.

Requirements

• Senior-level, hands-on experience owning identity, endpoint management, or IT security architecture.
• Deep experience with Okta or a comparable identity platform, including group membership, lifecycle management, and access reviews.
• Experience managing endpoints at scale with Intune, Jamf, or an equivalent platform, plus endpoint security agents.
• Strong knowledge of least privilege, conditional access, device trust, privileged access, and audit requirements.
• Experience making access decisions for developer, production, cloud, and data platforms.
• Hands-on use of AI tooling for building, scripting, and troubleshooting, with sound judgment about enterprise adoption and data handling.

Nice to have

• SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance evidence experience.
• Experience supporting rapid company growth and administering Cloudflare One.
• Hardware-key MFA rollout experience with YubiKey or FIDO2.
• Experience with AV, networking, office buildouts, Linux, GCP, AWS, or Azure.
