What you will do
- Own the architecture and technical direction for the Libraries Platform services and pipelines.
- Design automation for artifact creation, vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and policy enforcement.
- Build and operate shared platform services, including package indexes, registry mirrors, and metadata services.
- Develop internal developer tools and CLIs in Go to improve build, test, and shipping processes.
- Drive reliability, scalability, and observability for the platform through SLOs and performance tuning.
- Solve complex dependency, toolchain, and infrastructure issues in production environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Go or readiness to ramp up quickly.
- Proven track record in building developer tooling, CI/CD, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Deep experience with containers (Docker/OCI), Kubernetes, public clouds, and IaC tools like Terraform.
- Ability to debug and resolve complex compiler, packaging, and infrastructure failures.
- Excellent communication skills with a bias for documentation in a distributed remote environment.
Nice to have
- Open source contributions in ecosystem tooling or packaging.
- Experience with software supply chain security standards like SLSA security (SLSA, SBOMs, sigstore).
- Background with Linux distributions and reproducible build systems like Wolfi or Bazel.
- Familiarity with AI/ML packaging and infrastructure (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
