Salary: $188,000–$275,000

What you will do

• Design and implement distributed storage solutions supporting exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage.
• Optimize storage performance and efficiency using technologies like RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, and distributed protocols.
• Improve the reliability, durability, security, and observability of the entire storage stack.
• Collaborate with operations teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain storage systems in production.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to provide visibility into storage performance and health.
• Mentor engineers on best practices for building distributed, high-performance systems.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. Export Control Regulations.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.
• Proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, C, or Rust.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes.
