What you will do

• Lead critical infrastructure projects from definition through successful execution and delivery.
• Establish platform engineering standards and partner with product teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Maintain and optimize AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and internal tools.
• Advocate for platform priorities and technical trade-offs to engineering leadership.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers.
• Balance technical debt reduction with the delivery of new, high-impact features.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years in platform, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Proven track record of stabilizing unreliable systems and managing technical backlogs.
• Strong communication skills for advocating platform needs and explaining trade-offs.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, high-autonomy environments.
• Experience with AWS services, infrastructure-as-code, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and Redis at scale.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) best practices.
• Expertise in observability tooling like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
