What you will do

• Develop and maintain physical verification rule decks including DRC, LVS, antenna, density, and dummy fill.
• Collaborate with CAD, ESD, and design teams to obtain specifications and resolve issues during the design lifecycle.
• Create custom QA test cases and conduct code reviews to validate rule deck quality.
• Develop and automate flows and methodologies to enhance performance and the user experience.
• Perform evaluations and benchmarks for new tools and features, including AI-powered technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on verification flows and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong expertise in developing rule decks using Calibre SVRF or similar languages.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Shell.
• Experience with physical verification tools like Calibre RVE, Calibre DRV, and Virtuoso.
• Ability to drive new verification methodologies from specification through release.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience coding LVS, extraction, and PERC rule decks.
• Knowledge of AI-powered tools for design productivity and analysis.
