Senior Staff Physical Verification CAD Engineer (ICV)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain physical verification flows for multiple business units.
• Scale PV flow development and user support as products transition to advanced technologies including 2nm, 3nm, N5/N5A, A14, 3DIC, and PMIC.
• Support dual Calibre and ICV signoff flows, third-party IP onboarding, and improved turnaround times.
• Deploy and support verification flows and integrate them into the overall CAD platform.
• Develop solutions for evolving design challenges and keep pace with process and tool changes.
• Interface with EDA vendors and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize tool usage and signoff quality.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years of experience, or MS/PhD with 3–5 years of experience.
• Proficiency with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, and Tcl, Perl, or Python scripting.
• Experience with Synopsys ICV is required.
• Strong understanding of the complete IC design flow, from RTL, synthesis, and simulation through place and route, timing analysis, and physical verification.
• Ability to lead projects, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mentor Calibre SVRF/TVF.
• Experience supporting collaboration with third-party and non-US IP suppliers.
